Position: Trainee General Adviser
Hours per week: 21 hours per week
Salary: £22,226.54, rising to £22,624.94 (pro-rata, based on a 35 hour working
week) upon completion of training
Based: Boston
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Advice Team atCitizens Advice Mid Lincolnshire (CAML).
We require a part time Trainee Adviser to join our Advice Service Team. You will provide an effective and efficient support service to clients with a variety of issues. The service includes the provision of advice, information and digital support via face-to-face, telephone, web chat and email.
As a Trainee Adviser, you will work with our advice service volunteers and staff to assist clients by providing general advice on a variety of issues including employment, housing, benefits.
You will possess excellent communication and organisation skills and have an understanding of the issues affecting our clients. You will be willing to undertake Citizens Advice Generalist Adviser training. Previous experience of working in an advice setting is preferable but not essential as full training will be provided.
You will be required to work at both our Boston and Sleaford offices as well as outreach locations as required. A full driving license or ability to travel is therefore essential. There may also be an element of home working.
